CHHAComputerBank has donated some hundreds of computers to community organisations and individuals, both here and overseas
We work with other charitable and service organisations including Lions and Rotary and our aim is to provide our unique service to help their efforts without seeking reward.
Some recent recipients of refurbished computers from CHHAComputerBank are
Students at the ALESCO Learning Centre (a Central Coast independent community based school for disadvantaged children in years 9 and 10) and the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
K6-B students at Jesmond Public School
In association with Rotary International CHHAComputerBank supplied 20 computers for a school project at Mondo village in Papua and New Guinea.
A Rotary Project Team built the small school in an area where no such facilities were available. They sought our help to provide computers as part of modern curriculum and we were happy to help.
On the day the school was officially opened, some 600 children turned up to register for an education, totally overwhelming the facilities provided but fully justifying the worth of the project.
We add our congratulations to Rotary on a job well done.
